This is our boat, Sumurun. She is a 1979 Pearson 365 ketch. The previous owner did a really good job on refitting her, so she has lots of great upgrades, like AC and heat and a completely redone cabin. Mom and Dad were looking for a little bigger boat (because apparently I’m too big), and found Sumurun by accident, but it was a great one, because we all love this boat!
It even has a ‘Sadie Hole, that I use to go in and out, because the stairs are scary! I’ll make sure to put lots more pictures and information about the boat so you can follow along. I guess Dad has a few more things to add before we leave on our adventure, like solar panels and a windlass, so I’ll make sure we put pictures up about that.
